Thankful for the weather in Cali and use of a vehicle
So i always said that i would never live in New York City again after the summer i spent there due to the fact that i cannot live without a vehicle. I am not a lazy person but bottom line is...I like the convenience. So watching the news and my friends blog that lives in NYC makes me that much more thankful for the weather i live in as well as the transportation. Which brings me to the topic of the strike that is occuring there now. Absolute, total chaos. Can you freaking imagine being there now? All bundled up in layers and layers of fucking clothing walking 80 blocks to work? Personally, i can't think of anything worse than that. I would rather sit my ass on the 405 for 10 hours in traffic with heat and a/c, music, cigs, phone, than battle the bitter cold blowing on my face and cursing people the whole trek across NYC to work. Crowds and crowds of people pissed off at the transportation union. Honestly....can't be more thankful for California and my way of life. Wow! Good decision Amy...move to Cali instead where shit is going on just as much as NY.
