Spring Arrives and then Rain?

Spring officially arrived here in Southern California yesterday. I woke up happy, walked with a spring in my step all day, admired the chirping birds, the sun blasting on my windshield, even had to turn on my A/C. Just imagine 73 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, slight breeze, no wind, sun beating down. It was truly glorious. The day i had been waiting for months. This, my friends, is why i live in the most gorgeous weather-Southern California.

I am the type that my mood is greatly affected by the weather. Seriously...i think i have that complex...whatever it is....seasonal depression or whatever. The weather is a huge part why i live where i live...i love it! Simply makes me happy. Period. End of story.

Today...it all changed. Hello? I don't live in Oklahoma where the weather changes drastically every other day. What is going on? It is freaking raining...AGAIN! I. AM. SO. SICK. OF. RAIN. I WANT TO PUKE~!

I got this email yesterday from our VP:

For all other non believers you must work a full day until 5pm. Please feel free to contact me directly should you have any questions whatsoever. May the reason for the season be yours everyday!
I jumped for joy. Ahhh...the possibilities of Friday afternoon in this glorious weather...hum...take the dogs to the beach #1 on the list. Shop for upcoming birthdays, clean for family arrival this weekend, etc. etc. Well, now i don't want to do any of it. I want to curl up in a ball on my couch with my puggle and take a nap. Damn weather!

My dad and stepmom are coming to visit this weekend: Dad's birthday. My sister is coming in from Boston-haven't seen her since Thanksgiving. Can't wait. It will be a mini family reunion...both sisters, dad, boyfriends, etc. Please...weather...shape up!
