It's all about giving

"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Ever since i can remember i have been a giver and a pleaser. It nearly killed me this Christmas not being able to individually shop and buy for each family member. Well i am redeeming myself this month. So just shut up and allow me to boast.

-I made my friend Maggie this picture frame with 4 photos of their dog that i had taken while they were away on holiday.
-I drove up to LA to help my little sister and her boyfriend move into their new place and got 3 hours of sleep on a work night.
-I organized a catered luncheon today for our VP's birthday along with ordering, picking up a beautiful cake. It was a huge surprise success. OH forgot to mention i cleaned up after every slob employee too.
-I ordered a coworker a massage gift certificate and flowers for her birthday next week. Of course the company is paying though. Its the thought that counts.
-I am bringing my sister best friend flowers to the hospital tonight after giving birth to a healthy baby boy.

I sometimes have felt in my past relationships i give too much, am too kind and always wanting to please. Hum...maybe that is why i am so good at being a "personal assistant."
And maybe "giving" runs in my family as my grandfather just donated millions of dollars to our alma matar.
