Brunettes are Noticed, Blondes are Remembered

Saturday night, as we sit and drink beer after beer by the beach, we observe an old man tipping our waitress with a $100 bill. Before his final exit he walks over to our table and hands me 2 small pieces of paper. One of them is a picture of his cat, "Fred," and it reads, "happiness is being owned by a cat." The back says, "a happy day to you from kitty kat Fred and grandpa oscar." Did i forget to mention that there is a picture of him on one side (ya, the old gramps himself) and a picture of his cat on the other. The other piece of paper has this simple quote on it, "brunettes are noticed, blondes are remembered." I find this very peculiar. What a strange man. I mean what the hell....??? He just goes around handing these out to people at a bar?
I did, in fact, think this wise man was right on with the, "brunettes are noticed, blondes are remembered."
